Fine print

Paper embossing

We emboss strokes, text and logos on paper without the use of ink. Paper embossing is a mechanical process, by which a relief is obtained on the affected surface by means of special matrices. It lends elegance and refinement to the print.

Hot foil stamping

We make luxury printed products through the use of hot foil. It is the only process capable of bringing brilliance and metallic effects that never lose their luster, both on paper and cardboard. Through this process we create metallic finishes and holograms.

Thermographic printing

The process of chemical embossing involves the coating of inked areas that are still fresh with thermoplastic powder, which then melts to form a glossy finish on the ink. In this way, beautiful multi-color embossed prints with special and inimitable effects can be obtained.

UV print

The UV (also known as ultraviolet printing system) is based on the passage of the print under a UV lens, which allows the inked part to be embossed. UV lamps dry the printed ink completely and almost instantaneously: the rapid drying allows for a significant reduction in printing time. This allows clean printing with excellent color rendition.

Letterpress

Through letterpress we create products with an ancient character but a contemporary feel. Products printed with this process have a bas-relief effect and the print appears etched into the paper. Especially when used on a porous, fiber-rich paper, it allows us to define clear margins to a very full-bodied print.

Engraving print

Engraving printing is an antique flavoured technique, but it's still appreciated to this day. In order to print by engraving, we treat the substrate material so that we can remove the parts that needs to be white after printing. Eventually the stencil is ready for printing, which is done simply by appling pressure on the paper.

Digital printing

We use Canon imagePRESS professional digital printers to ensure the highest print quality. The market trend to print shorter and shorter runs at low cost is causing the percentage of typographic products produced through digital printing to increase exponentially.

This is why we have also decided to offer this type of printing that complements offset and fine printing. Digital printing represents an excellent compromise for everyone who wants a good quality product at a very competitive price.

In addition, even for some types of publishing products, turnaround times are significantly lowered, and obviously it directly affects production costs.

Offset printing

We have always used Heidelberg printing presses: they are the highest expression of technology and quality in the printing world.

Offset printing is mainly used for the production of commercial prints ranging from classic business cards, flyers and magazines to the production of books.

The main advantage of the offset technique is the highest printing quality and resolution, which combined with high print runs allows for very low unit costs.

We're aware that the communication and quality success of a product always stem from the design and set-up stage: this is why we have always paid close attention to the following aspects:

Graphic design and layout: like any advertising agency we study and implement optimal communication and graphic layout solutions;
Prototype production: in order to allow the customer to see for himself how the finished product feels and if what was conceived and studied on a file achieves the same effect on the material support, we make printed prototypes that allow, if necessary, changes to be made before the final printing;
Professional graphic check: we perform a thorough check of the files provided by customers to verify, in addition to resolution, print colors and color profiles.

We perform die-cutting, folding, binding and packaging services for prints, books and paper products of different types. We make use of creasing to fold efficiently and to assure you a defect-free product.
